My Approach

My approach to treatment is shaped by my diverse experience as a physical therapist and my deep understanding of the physical demands dancers place on their bodies.

Dancers often need hands-on bodywork to address years of repetitive technique that can create muscle imbalances, stiffness, and alignment challenges. For this reason, my practice places a strong emphasis on manual therapy, including soft tissue and joint mobility work, as well as neuromuscular re-training.

At the same time, I strongly believe dancers need progressive strength training to truly support their craft. Learning how to load the body safely and build strength is one of the most powerful ways to improve performance and prevent injury long term.

In addition to treatment and exercise, I also educate dancers on training principles that are rarely discussed in the dance world, including:

• Proper rest and recovery
• Cross-training outside the studio
• Nutrition to support training and healing

The goal is not just to help you get out of pain — but to help you dance stronger and more resilient than before.
